Q: I Know you can be pregnant and still have a period. Is it possable you can still have a period and be pregnant with a negitive home pregnancy test?

Dear Sirs;
Please kindly be informed that I have studied your information on internet site : www.americanpregnancy.org very useful for some of my wife.
in fact ,my wife got chickenpox during week 23rd of pregnancy and she had not experinced any chicken pox during her life then this was the first time she got one.
We had no hand to VZIG for any treatment in primary satges of chickenpox & she has been treated only with Acetaminaphone tab.( per 6 hour for 4 days) & Aciclovir tab.( 800mgs each 4 hour (ex. night time) for 5 days) medicines.
Now she would like to be sure of her baby's health & we do not know how we could ask for diagnosis tests before child's delivery to protect the baby health & prevent any possible baby defects delivery.
So please kinldy assist us to understand any diagnosis tests for recognition of baby's situation in advance.
I should add it up that we are living outside the US and our area is very weak in women health .
